Our unique club offers you a motivating, yet non-intimidating, atmosphere allowing you to train in our 30,000 square foot facility. We offer both strength and muscle conditioning through top manufactured equipment such as Body Master, Cybex and Nautilus. The Iron Grip weight plates and dumbells offer a unique combination of hand grips and urethane coatings to enhance ease of use.

Cardio

One of the most important parts of a good physical fitness program is the cardio respiratory endurance workout. Cardiovascular exercise has been scientifically proven to strengthen the muscles of the heart, lower cholesterol and blood pressure, and burn fat calories.

As the New Year begins I wanted to take the opportunity to write to you in regard to your fitness center. At a time where people are very quick to criticize, I believe it's equally important to let people know when they are doing a good job.

While researching several facilities in October I spoke with Cindy and got a tour. I was impressed with not only her friendliness but also her "no pressure" sales approach. She answered all of my questions and encouraged me to call if I thought of anything else. I explained that I was still trying to make up my mind and she suggested I call if there was anything else she could help with.

The following week I came by and spoke with Jon. He was also very pleasant to talk to. I had specific questions about your personal training program. I explained that I was looking to start a resistance-training program and he recommended your 3 session introductory offer. I decided to sign up for a 3-month membership and the personal training sessions. I had hoped to find a female trainer but due to my schedule one was not available. Jon suggested that I make an appointment with Mike.

I was hesitant to work with a male trainer. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the first appointment, I was impressed with his friendly, upbeat personality. His enthusiasm for the program, and his willingness to personalize a program for my needs, encouraged me to give it a try. I must say I did not enjoy the fitness analysis, but Mike's professionalism made the situation much more tolerable.

As a middle-aged female, who is also a health professional, I understand the need for women to get regular exercise and to engage in a resistance-training program. In the past, I had always given up on weight training because I didn't understand the proper technique and would injure myself. Mike has designed my program so that I can continue to improve and not worry about getting hurt.

At the beginning, I had a problem with blood pressure and conditioning issues and thought I might need to stop training. Mike was always willing to listen to my concerns and modify my program. His attention to the individual needs of his clients and his focus on technique and safety are what makes him a true professional in my opinion. I have seen Mike work with people of all ages and he is always giving each one the time and individual attention they need, and always with a smile. He is an asset to your business.

I have signed up for a regular membership and take weekly training sessions, which I plan on continuing. I am very happy with your personal training program and the friendliness of all your staff. I am glad that I decided to choose Nashua Athletic Club and look forward to making fitness a part of my life. Thank You.
